Bodywork & Dimensions

Unlike the majority of station wagons, Superb Combi boasts a dynamic and sporty exterior design. This provided for more elbow room for the driver and the passenger (+3.9 cm) as well as for rear passengers (+7.0 cm). The length of the model makes up 4.85 m.

The front overhang has lost 61 mm. Special attention has been paid to the trunk. Its minimal volume has been enlarged by 27 L, making up 660 L in total (on standard rear seats fixture). Yet, it’s possible to add some extra volume to the trunk (up to 1950 L) by folding the rear seats.

In addition, the car has at hand an enlarged clearance, a dynamic chassis control, a plastic protection for body parts, new wheelarches, an updated bumper, and a metallic shield for the bottom.

Skoda Superb Combi stands out from the competitors by plenty of room for all passengers. The headroom has been considerably enlarged, providing for 995 mm in the front and 1001 mm in the rear. The kneeroom makes up 157 mm – twice as much as other competitors.

The saloon finish is all about soft plastic. As far as infotainment is concerned, the model comes equipped with SmartGate system; it enables the creation of wireless high-speed networks between the car and the smartphone/tablet (SmartLink option).
